More about Epoxy Flooring Adhesive

Epoxy flooring adhesive is an adhesive used for adhering linoleum, vinyl tiles, rubber tiles, or rubber sheets to a variety of flooring substrates (concrete, plywood, existing resiliant flooring, radiant heating subfloors, steel, aluminum, and cereamic tile, among others). Epoxy flooring adhesive comes as a two-part epoxy (Part A is an epoxy pre-polymer resin base and Part B is typically a polyamine hardener/curing agent) that must be mixed by drill on-site. Most commercial epoxy flooring adhesives come in a pack with Part A and Part B pre-measured to the appropriate mix ratio. Adhesive must set for 12-72 hours after flooring is installed before it can withstand heavy foot-traffic or rolling traffic.
