More about Acrylic Flooring Adhesive

Acrylic adhesives are common in attaching many types of flooring to a substrate. Carpet backings, resilient flooring, and engineered wood flooring may all specify the use of an acrylic flooring adhesives for installation. This Common Product (CP) describes a one-part “universal” acrylic flooring adhesive, designed to be used to install many types of flooring. This CP describes products applied with a trowel. Spray-applied products were outside the scope of this CP, but it is important to note that such products utilize blowing agents, some of which may have high global warming potential.
